Used For Constipation How it works It helps in relieving constipation, where prucalopride which is a gastrointestinal prokinetic that works by activating certain receptors in intestinal walls, causing contractions in the intestinal walls, thereby increasing the frequency of passing stools in constipated individuals. Usage And Safety Dosage Adults : 2mg once daily . Reassess if no response after 4 wk . Elderly above 65yr : Initially 1mg once daily , if necessary increase to 2mg once daily . Children : Not recommended . OR As directed by your physician . Side Effects Headache , Nausea , Diarrhoea , Abdominal pain , Decreased appetite , Dizziness , Vomiting , Indigestion , Flatulence , Abnormal bowel sounds , Tiredness .
